The place
On Anguilla’s western side, 380 acres of beachfront estate scattered with elegant white villas. The interiors follow the facade — white, neutral, minimal, softened by modern furnishing.
The 178 accommodations run from rooms and suites to villas and private homes, all in the same pale, wooden palette. Sumptuous bedding, a freestanding bathtub, a large TV, free wifi. The villas add private pools and direct beach access.
The golf course is the island’s only one, named the Third Best Caribbean Course in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Award. There is also a sparkling outdoor pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and days that fill themselves — tennis, kayaking, snorkeling, cave tours.
Six dining venues cross the property. D Richard’s, the island’s only steakhouse, keeps a wine list of over 400 selections; Oliva turns freshly caught seafood into refined Italian cooking.
