A 1913 Beaux-Arts bank building in London's financial district, its old-world grandeur left intact. Local studio Holloway Li threaded contemporary accents through it; the 203 guest rooms now rest in a soothing white and neutral palette, with designer furniture, fluted headboards, Paolozzi art prints, and sisal carpets underfoot.
The bank kept its vaults. Gaucho occupies the historic gold vaults — a sophisticated steakhouse serving some of the city's best Argentinian steaks alongside wines and cocktails.
