The place

Hotel Willa opened in early 2025, a 1940s Taos motel transformed into an art-filled high desert getaway. Behind the classic adobe facade, Pueblo and contemporary design meet quietly. The 50 rooms and suites hold terracotta tones, wooden beams, local artwork — with Parachute linens and Aesop toiletries.

At the center of the courtyard, an outdoor pool and hot tub; a refreshing cocktail arrives if you want one. Elsewhere, a compact fitness room, a cold plunge, a cedar sauna, a garden, and a 2,000-square-foot gallery.

Meals belong to Juliette, a restaurant designed to feel like a grandma’s home, its dishes drawn from local and seasonal bounty.
