The place

Kalesma stands on a hilltop in Ornos — whitewashed structures drawn from Cycladic architecture. The 27 intimate suites and villas run moody and earthy: designer furniture, curated objects, a private terrace, the sea always in view. Some keep a pool of their own.

The infinity pool looks straight over the Aegean. Wellness runs deep — two treatment rooms, a hammam, a sauna, a cold plunge, a fitness space. Pere Ubu, the all-day restaurant, serves a modern Cycladic menu; the poolside bar waits in the shade with chilled cocktails.
