The place

The Palazzo Corpi has stood in Beyoğlu since 1873, and its frescoes are still overhead. Soho House Istanbul keeps the grand neoclassical bones — the soaring ceilings, the original details — and folds 87 rooms and suites into them: vintage-inspired, dark wood, intricate patterns, the occasional contemporary note. The Apartment goes further, with a large terrace, a barbecue, and a hot tub.

Elsewhere, a state-of-the-art gym, a sauna, a steam room, two hammams, and a spa. Three places to eat and drink — The House menu takes a modern turn on traditional Turkish dishes, while Cecconi's keeps to northern Italy.
