The place

Twenty-one acres of landscaped garden in Rancho Santa Fe, San Diego. The 85 rooms and suites were recently refurbished — elegant contemporary furnishings, a Calacatta marble bathroom, and in some, a private terrace.

The outdoor pool sits behind vintage-inspired emerald latticework, ringed by cabanas and chaise lounges. Beyond it: tennis courts, the Mila Moursi Spa, a modern fitness center, and the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Course. Three dining and drinking spaces on the grounds, from regionally inspired cuisine to curated wellness-focused snacks. A hot tub, too, for the end of the day.
