A Neo-Gothic landmark from the 1920s in downtown Dallas, its historic stone facade giving way to rich jewel tones and eye-catching artwork. Opulence, but the practiced kind.
The 160 oversized rooms and suites were recently refreshed — bespoke Italian millwork, velvet seating, chromatic fixtures, Merbau wood floors underfoot. Soft Sferra linens on the bed, a rainfall shower, high-speed wifi.
Wellness runs the building's full height: a rooftop pool above, a 24-hour gym, and below street level a subterranean spa with a sauna and geothermal pool. For meals, CBD Provisions plays the modern Texas brasserie; Sassetta cooks Italian.
