The place
The Slate carries designer Bill Bensley’s eclectic hand across Phuket — industrial lines threaded with traditional Thai influence. Its 185 rooms range from spacious suites to two-bedroom pool villas, in various styles, each with chic furniture, wooden floors, industrial lighting, handcrafted rugs and a soaking tub.
Three idyllic outdoor pools anchor the grounds, the large infinity stone pool chief among them. The Coqoon Spa restores; the Ondigo Gym keeps pace. Six dining and drinking concepts run from Black Ginger’s vibrant southern Thai cooking to the modern open-fired grills of Rivet & Rebar.
