The place

Beside JFK, the former TWA headquarters flies again. The revival leans into the building's golden heyday — original details restored, the 1960s everywhere you look.

The 512 rooms and suites hold mid-century Knoll furniture, Sealy bedding, terrazzo-tiled bathrooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Up top, a heated rooftop infinity pool with lounge beds, a poolside bar, and sweeping views of the airport. A 24-hour fitness center runs to 10,000 square feet. Of the six places to eat and drink on-site, Paris Café is the work of chef Jean-Georges, and Connie's — a cocktail lounge — is hidden inside an airplane.
