The place
A by Adina occupies a sleek, sculptural building by architect Bates Smart in the Canberra CBD. The 130 apartments run from studios to two-bedrooms, kept clean and quiet in soft neutrals and white.
Each comes with modern furnishing, comfortable bedding, Hunter Lab toiletries and complimentary internet. Studios have a compact kitchenette; the larger apartments a full kitchen and laundry — the kind of setup that suits a long stay. A fitness room with cardio machines and free weights sits on the lower level.
The eating happens outside. The Meat & Wine Co. for steak, Mu Omakase for Japanese charcoal grill, ARC Café by Redbrick when all you want is coffee and something light.
