Aguamadera Ibiza

The place

An agrotourism hideaway in Ibiza's northeastern mountains, made from a converted 19th-century farmhouse with a white-washed facade. Acres of forest and groves close around it.

Eleven rooms and suites spread across the finca and corrales. Rustic, pared-back, white and earthy — clay plaster walls, linen textiles, wooden furniture. Little else, deliberately.

The center of it all is the pool deck: terracotta tiles, umbrellas, cushy daybeds. In the restaurant, chef Gonzalo Cerrato Laguna keeps an open kitchen and a wood fire, cooking regional and seasonal produce — vegetables, fruit, and flowers carried in straight from the farm.
