Steps from Passeig de Gràcia in the Eixample, Alma occupies a singular early-20th-century building. Past the sandstone facade, the city recedes. The interiors run elegant and moody, softened everywhere by green.

The 72 rooms and suites are precise: white, neutral, and black, with sleek contemporary furnishing, wooden herringbone floors, mid-century-inspired decor, and curated artwork. Each has bespoke bedding, a marble bathroom, a work desk.

Below, a tranquil indoor pool, with a steam room, dry sauna, spa, and compact gym alongside. Jardín del Alma serves the best of the season al fresco, hemmed in by lush greenery.
