The place

Just off Passeig de Gràcia, Juli Capella's curved, open limestone panels announce Sir Victor. Inside, the Eixample hotel turns eclectic — wooden floors, mid-century decor, beveled marble, black leather, a glint of copper.

The rooms and suites are brighter, softer. White, grey, and wood, with modern furnishings and curated objects; sumptuous bedding, a Bose speaker, a Nespresso machine, books left within reach.

On the roof, a pool with a lush terrace and a bar beside it. Below, a gym and a spa — indoor pool, sauna, steam room. At MR PORTER, the table runs from rare steak to seafood to vegetarian plates.
