A pair of whitewashed Bauhaus-style buildings in central Athens, revived by Mariette Sans-Rival Studio into something cozy and a little moody — curvaceous furniture, sun-kissed color.
The 48 rooms and suites turn around yellows, oranges and pale greens, with contemporary furnishings, color-matching carpets and floor-to-ceiling windows. Plush bedding, Apivita toiletries, a TV — the essentials, present and quiet.
In the idyllic courtyard, Patio Wine Bar and Bistro opens all day: regional Mediterranean plates, local coffee, organic wines. Up top, the Rooftop Cocktail Bar runs livelier — vibrant drinks, tapas, Balearic music.
