The place

A Queen Anne and Shingle-style house from 1889, set in the heart of Wilmington's Historic District. The facade stays true to its era; inside, the mood is modern and lightly playful.

Five rooms and suites, no more. Most keep to a white and neutral palette with chic furnishing and curated objects. VISIONARY breaks rank — a whole room in royal blue.

Mornings bring vegan breakfasts and coffee from the in-house chefs, taken perhaps on the front porch or in the private garden. Yoga classes, in-room massages, and excursions can be arranged when the porch is not enough.
