Hotel Henrietta

The place

Just west of the Garden District, on St. Charles Avenue, Hotel Henrietta opened in April 2024 inside a modern beige new-build. Local studio Farouki Farouki chose a moody jewel-tone palette and held to it.

The 40 rooms and suites are spacious and precise: velvet headboards, custom millwork, marble vanities, mosaic tile in the bathrooms. Parachute linens on the bed, Le Labo by the bath, Waterworks fixtures throughout.

At the lobby lounge, the hotel works with Flour Moon, the acclaimed local eatery, whose bagels rank among the country's best. There is no full restaurant on-site — for coffee, there is Avenue Room at Columns, the sister hotel a few blocks away.
