The place

A brown brick corner building in the Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, hiding something closer to an intimate guest house than a hotel. Just 8 rooms, each with its own personality — playful furnishings, delightful color, exposed brick walls, vintage touches, potted plants.

The communal spaces carry the rest of the stay. An inner courtyard with seating for working and unwinding, a living room with a well-appointed kitchen. And Le Lounge, the grand lobby bar — inspired by the grandeur of traditional hotel lobbies, kept moody for late-night drinks.
