The place
Tucked into Cambronne on the Left Bank, near the 7th arrondissement, Hotel Wallace is a breezy white building with a different accent — less Paris, more 1970s Italian Riviera. Studio Hauvette & Madani set the tone in the lobby: colorful terrazzo underfoot, teal panels, lacquered wood.
The 45 rooms and suites follow suit. Simple and cozy, with retro furnishings, light wooden floors, brass fixtures, terrazzo vanities, and curated objects. The Junior Suite adds a leafy private terrace, a bathtub, and the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
The best seat in the house is outside — a large terrace with sun loungers and a Scandinavian hot tub. There is a modern fitness room, and Tuco and the rooftop pour natural wines and cocktails. No formal restaurant here; the surrounding neighborhood takes care of dinner.
