Le Pigalle

The place

A slim sandstone building just south of Montmartre, in the neighborhood that gives it its name. FESTEN Architecture crosses contemporary with vintage; the result feels lived-in, eclectic, and honest to Pigalle.

The 40 rooms and suites read like a private residence — vintage furniture, photographs, prints, vinyl, books. There is a record player, Le Labo in the bath, ceramic vanities, an iPad in the room.

On the ground floor: a restaurant, a café, a bar. The kitchen runs early till late with a simple, seasonal menu of local produce; the café and bar pour reinvented cocktails, natural wines, and coffee.
