The place

In Zurich's Enge district, London studio Sella Concept plays it theatrical. The lobby nods to the Swiss Riviera — red velvet curtains, curvaceous furnishing, stainless steel panels catching the light.

That red runs on through the 80 apartment-style rooms, set against quirky contemporary furniture, old-school patterned curtains, wooden floors, and curated objects. Each comes with a living area, a kitchenette, a balcony, and Kinsey Apothecary toiletries.

A complimentary continental breakfast is laid out each morning. Later, Choupette serves a traditional French brasserie menu with a modern twist; a cozy cafe doubles as a co-working space, a place to work and unwind.
