Louma Farm and Retreat

The place

In the rolling hills near the Jurassic Coast, Louma is a farm first and a retreat second. Restored farmhouses and stables hold seventeen rooms in warm, earthy tones — a marble shower, a standalone bathtub, little to distract.

The Wellness Barn and Spa keeps an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a gym and a sauna. Days pass on horseback or among the vines. The kitchen works from the land: house-made jams in the morning, slow-cooked beef at night, seasonal dishes built on organic, local ingredients.
