The place
An 18th-century mansion on Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement, opened as a hotel in early 2023. Lázaro Rosa Violán chose restraint over spectacle — neutral hues, opulence kept quiet. The painted ceilings and mouldings have been restored to themselves.
The 56 rooms and suites rise to tall ceilings. Parquet underfoot, elegant furniture, curated artwork. Tessicasa linens, a Geneva sound system, MALIN+GOETZ in the bath, Lavazza on the sideboard.
A compact fitness studio holds machines and free weights. At the hotel's centre, Delano Café spills from the interior into the courtyard, cooking French-Mediterranean.
