The place

Numeroventi occupies Palazzo Galli Tassi, a grand 16th-century palazzo in the heart of Florence, reworked by a succession of architects and designers into a calm artist’s retreat and hotel. The past stayed: the neoclassical staircase, the octagonal pillars, the marble statue.

Against them, ten spacious lofts in a soothing neutral palette — contemporary furniture, curated objects, industrial touches, ceilings that keep going. Loft 10 still carries the building’s ancient frescoes. Some lofts hold a fully equipped kitchen for longer stays.

Between them, the historic courtyard and the lounge, tranquil at almost any hour.
