The place
In Girona's historic quarter, an 18th-century Baroque palace turned quiet hideaway. Palau Fugit keeps its original details and lets them speak, adding only contemporary and artisanal touches. Twenty-five rooms, each with modernist furniture and carefully chosen amenities.
There are two pools: one in the courtyard, open to the sky, and a heated pool set into limestone rock. Deeper in, a spa within the cave offers massages and treatments.
Three places to eat and drink. Casa Heras serves Mediterranean dishes through the day; El Terrat is lush and open-air, made for a drink and something light.
