The place

An 18th-century villa in Moltrasio, on Lake Como, set within seven acres of manicured gardens. BOMO shaped the 24 suites one by one — dreamy hues, Italian artisanal furniture, marble bathrooms, details that reward a slow look. No two are alike.

The garden terrace pool is the serene centre of the place. Indoors, a light-filled pool, a sauna, a steam room, a gym with a view. Meals stay relaxed and refined, as if in the house of an Italian friend — lunch outside, a quiet gourmet dinner later.
