The eye-shaped windows come from the aspen tree. Populus Hotel, opened in mid-2024 in downtown Denver, wears a textured ivory facade unlike anything around it — and inside, Wildman Chalmers built with local materials, reclaimed Wyoming snow fences, and recycled leather veneer.
The 265 pet-friendly rooms sit in calm earthy, neutral, and pale green hues, with contemporary furniture, exposed concrete ceilings, and artisanal objects. Quiet luxuries too — a hammock window to curl into, Grown Alchemist toiletries, a TV.
A 24-hour fitness center keeps its own hours. Of the three dining and drinking concepts, Pasque is the moody, refined one, its menu drawn from nature; Stellar Jay, the vibrant rooftop space, grills share-style dishes above the city.
