The place

A 1960s building by architect Morris Lapidus, a few blocks from Times Square. Romer Hell's Kitchen dresses its public spaces in a rust palette drawn from the neighborhood; the 295 rooms turn more colorful, mixing modern and antique pieces with playful touches, unique artwork, and Kassatex linens.

So & So nods to the district's theatre heritage — a bold piano bar and restaurant with a supper-club-style menu and a creative cocktail list. The neighborhood cafe serves all-day dishes and local coffee, and The Study offers a comfortable corner to work or linger.
