The place

Steps from the Duomo, a 19th-century palazzo with its historic facade intact. Inside, Vincenzo de Cotiis works in an artistic industrial register — the spaces read like a private gallery of his bespoke pieces.

The 64 rooms and suites hold concrete and slate floors, scratched mirrors, custom artwork. French bedding and Rivolta Carmignani linens; a burnished brass bathroom with eco bath products.

The H2O Wellness Center keeps an indoor resistance pool, a sauna, a hammam, and a place to lie still. A fully equipped gym as well. STRAF Restaurant serves American breakfasts and fusion international dishes; STRAF Bar takes drinks outdoors, with DJ sets and live music.
