The place

Five low-slung 1960s buildings on a 3.5-acre estate at Brant Point, Nantucket. The 90 rooms take their cues from the era — terracotta and cream, custom sculptural furniture, light wood floors, Bellino linens on the bed and D.S. & Durga by the sink.

At the center, outdoor pools for adults and children under orange umbrellas, day beds pulled close. There is a lawn, a vintage game arcade, a social hub, a modern gym, and free bikes at the door. The Swim Club and the Lobby Bar handle the rest — fresh island fare, local snacks, something cold to drink.
