The place
One of Toronto's original boutique hotels, open since 2004. In 2021 it grew a modern wing — cream bricks handmade in Denmark — joined to the original building by a new ground-floor lobby. Inside, the mood stays lively: quirky decor, colour arriving in bright splashes.
The 51 rooms and suites span both wings, all of them artsy and playful. Bold patterns, vibrant colours, local artwork. Bespoke furnishing, plush bedding, Malin+Goetz in the bathroom.
The Drake has always been more than a hotel — a cultural hub with ever-changing art exhibitions and live music. The in-house kitchen ranges wide, from pasta to burgers to sushi.
