The place
Asheville's 1920s Flatiron building, back in service since May 2024. The iconic facade has been restored; inside, downtown gets a modern reading of Art Deco's grandeur.
The 71 rooms and suites keep their history close — original doors, transom windows — set against Deco-inspired furnishings and deep teal carpets. Italian Bellino linens on the bed, organic Hemp Code products in the bath.
Two venues on site. Luminosa, the ground-floor trattoria, turns out wood-fired pizzas and housemade pasta. Above, the rooftop bar holds a global wine list, cocktails, and the city spread wide below.
