The place
The Royal Holland Lloyd Shipping Company built this brown brick building in 1921; The Hoxton opened inside it in September 2023. AIME Studios handled the interiors, retro and unafraid of color.
The 136 rooms and suites nod to the docklands' maritime past — deep blues and reds, wooden floors, velvet headboards, geometric patterns. Plush bedding, bespoke toiletries, fast internet. Dogs are welcome too.
Breman Brasserie moves between European and South American cooking all day. Barbue, the bar, mixes Argentinian-inspired cocktails with an Italian twist.
