A pink 19th-century warehouse in Chiado, hard to overlook. The Ivens opens onto a lobby of dark vintage maximalism — chocolate tones, bold florals, leather and velvet.
The 87 rooms and suites go the other way: ambient whites and neutrals, Mid-Century furnishings, artwork with a taste for adventure. Premium bedding, marble vanities, Acqua di Parma in the bath.
There is a modern fitness center with machines and free weights. Rocco, inspired by traditional osterias, serves Italian cooking with vibrant flavors; beside it, the glamorous Gastrobar pairs an exquisite drink list with small plates.
