The place

Pátio do Tijolo opened in January 2024, tucked inside a minimalist white building in Bairro Alto. The interior follows the facade’s lead — clean, contemporary, unhurried.

The 24 rooms are full of light. Creamy white walls, spare furniture, designer lighting, handmade local ceramics, light wooden floors. Each opens onto a private balcony with the city spread wide below.

At the center, a tranquil courtyard thick with green and plenty of places to sit. Inside, a communal lounge for reading, resting or working. The kitchen serves breakfast and a short list of sweet and savory bites.
