A teal-green facade on a 19th-century building near Avenida da Liberdade, just north of Bairro Alto. Inside, Hotel Hotel — designed with Pedrita Studio — settles into a cosy modern register.
The 40 rooms and suites turn on pastel hues: wooden herringbone floors, bespoke furniture, curated art pieces. The essentials are quietly done — plush bedding, a marble bathroom, organic toiletries.
The semi-outdoor pool is the heart of it, wrapped in lush vegetation, loungers scattered at its edge, yoga sessions held alongside. Animal Restaurant & Bar runs indoors and out, botanical in spirit, cooking simple, refined dishes from seasonal produce.
