The place
A historic brick building near the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, newly opened and shaped around the memory of Louis Davenport, who once lived here. Harken Interiors dressed the communal rooms in jewel tones and botanical accents — closer to a private members' club than a lobby.
The 48 rooms and suites are generous: lofty ceilings, vintage-inspired furniture, patterned carpets underfoot. Marble bathrooms, L'Occitane, and butler service round it out. As a sister to the Davenport Hotel, guests can also use its 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, and the Davenport Spa.
