The place

An industrial red brick building on the Lower East Side, just south of the East Village. Sean MacPherson leaned into the bones — the lobby keeps its wooden beams, exposed brick, and dark leather couches.

The 184 rooms lighten the mood: ivory and earth tones, vintage furnishings, wooden floors, factory-style windows that pull in the street's light. Marble bathrooms and curated artwork throughout. At the top, a penthouse suite with a large private terrace, a living area, and a full kitchen.

There is a fully equipped gym. For dinner, Dirty French reimagines timeless bistro dishes; for a drink, The Lobby Lounge & Garden sets out cocktails and light bites in the open air.
