A brick building on the historic site of the Ashland Distillery, in Lexington's Distillery District. NYC studio Bukovec drew on that heritage — the lobby is dark wood, arched walls, patterned textiles.
The 126 rooms hold deep navy and brown, with equestrian-inspired furnishings and factory-style windows. The details are considered: Pogessi Firenze linens, Le Labo in the bath, a Marshall speaker on the shelf.
Granddam, named for a racehorse, reimagines local fare. Up on the roof, Lost Palm channels 1960s South Florida with flamboyant cocktails and refreshing plates. A stylish fitness center is on hand as well.
