The Ned NoMad
The place
A 1903 Beaux-Arts building in Midtown Manhattan, transformed by the renowned members’ club with design studio Stonehill Taylor. Past the sandstone facade, the public spaces settle into a moody 1920s glamour.
The 167 rooms and suites are elegant and nostalgic — vintage-inspired furnishing, mahogany wood, subtle touches of velvet, curated objects and artwork. Deluxe bedding, Cowshed bath products, a Watermark shower; some rooms keep a freestanding bathtub.
The kitchens carry the evening. Cecconi’s serves classic Italian with a modern menu, while The Dining Room offers intimate fine dining built around the grill. A fitness center with machines and free weights completes the house.
