The place

A 1967 escape on the shores of Eleuthera, recently brought back to life. Across 12 acres, just 11 suites, cottages and villas — whitewashed walls, breezy coastal furnishings, local artwork, a private veranda.

Two pools sit outdoors, one a crescent with sweeping ocean views. Steps away, the pink sand beach runs for seven miles; snorkel, kayak, swim, or do nothing at all. The Fig Tree serves an Asian-inspired menu in the open air, and The Sand Bar keeps chilled cocktails and snacks beside the pool.
