The place
A glass building near Orchard Road and the Botanic Gardens, opened in December 2024. Ministry of Design gave the interior a playful tropical streak — bamboo panels, terrazzo floors, sharp pops of red.
The 143 rooms and suites are chic and quirky, carrying the same materials through: modern furniture, bamboo, terrazzo, vivid red accents.
Striped lounge beds ring the outdoor pool, where a swim-up bar means never quite leaving the water. The garden courtyard climbs in tiers, and there is a fitness center as well. Kaya, the all-day restaurant, works in the modern izakaya register; the cafe runs from morning coffee to late-night bites.
