The place
Three warehouses on the bank of the Singapore River, restored and joined at Robertson Quay. The vaulted lobby keeps its exposed brick and steel trusses; everything around them is new, quiet, industrial.
The 37 rooms, lofts and suites follow the same line — grey, dark wood, black metal, a touch of green marble. Bang & Olufsen speakers, Ashley & Co. toiletries.
On the roof, a newly built glass infinity pool looks out over the river. Downstairs, Po serves a modern Singaporean menu, and the lobby bar pours classics alongside local drinks.
