Villa Copenhagen

The place

Villa Copenhagen sits beside the central train station, in a Neo-Baroque building that once housed the head office of Denmark Post & Telegraph. With Goddard Littlefair, the old courtyard has become an atrium lobby, daylight falling through a faceted skylight.

Rooms and suites keep to white and neutral tones — brass fixtures, wood, Hilding Anders bedding. Bathrooms are lined in marble and ceramic tile.

On the roof, a 25-meter pool with daybeds and a terrace bar. A wooden sauna and a gym sit below. Four places to eat and drink, among them Brasserie Kontrast, built around locally grown ingredients, and T37, for share-style dishes and drinks.
