The place

An ivory building from 1899 in Copenhagen's Old Town, rethought as a Venetian palazzo. The central atrium is the heart of it — blush-pink walls, checkered marble floors, daylight falling through the skylight onto flowers and colorful vintage-inspired furniture.

The 109 rooms and suites are quieter, kept to a creamy palette with contemporary designer furniture, wooden parquet floors, and curated objects and artwork. The suites go further: a private rooftop terrace, a spacious living area, breakfast brought to the room, a bathtub.

Donna, the Italian restaurant, sits in the atrium itself. It belongs to the Copenhagen Food Collective — sister to eighteen well-known restaurants across the city, Jah Izakaya & Sake Bar and Les Trois Cochons among them.
