The place
On the northwest coast of Sainte Marie Island, Voaara spreads seven bungalows and a single villa across 100 acres of unspoiled land. Barefoot luxury, taken literally: thatched roofs, breezy materials, custom furniture in a rustic bohemian register.
Every room opens onto a private terrace, and the terrace onto pristine white sand. From there the days write themselves — biking, surfing, deep-sea fishing, diving.
La Plage is the one table, open all day. Chef Aleixandre Sarrion cooks a Mediterranean and Asian-inspired menu from fresh local produce, in the open air.
