Alava Suites

The place

A clean white villa near the eastern end of Costa Teguise, beside the golf club, on the island of Lanzarote. The owner designed it personally, and it shows in the tranquil modern charm of the rooms.

Six spacious suites, each with its own personality, all in white and wood with minimalist furnishing and black metal accents. The essentials arrive without fuss: plush bedding, a kitchenette, a Dyson fan, Rituals bath products.

Outside, a pool and garden made for doing very little. A seasonal breakfast is included each morning, and an in-house training studio waits for yoga or cardio, if the mood arrives.
