The place
The first hotel on Lanzarote, open since 1967 on the front row of Puerto del Carmen. A complete renovation in 2020 gave the whitewashed property a soaring lobby — marble floors, curated artwork, a luxurious coastal calm.
The 213 rooms and suites stay bright: white and wood, with subtle touches of blue and orange. Each has a marble bathroom and a balcony of geometric tiles, plush seating, a small table.
The crown jewel is a pair of infinity pools with Jacuzzis and an uninterrupted line to the Atlantic. The Fariones Sports Center nearby adds a lap pool, a gym, and tennis courts. Of the four places to eat, Erizo stands out — innovative Macaronesian cooking that celebrates local produce.
