A Federal-style house in Portland’s West End, nineteenth-century bones dressed by Elder & Ash in an eclectic contemporary mood. The nine rooms each hold their own character — mid-century furniture, dark wooden floors, curated artwork.

The details are handled: comfortable bedding, Lather bath products, fireplaces, a smart TV, blackout shades for the late sleeper.

Elsewhere in the house, a Peloton studio, a billiards room, a living room, and a library of books, games, and puzzles. No restaurant on-site, but breakfast comes daily — house-made bread, yogurt, fruit, an assortment of spreads.
