The place

In the lush highlands north of Ubud, a set of dark wooden pavilions built in the spirit of traditional treehouses — with no walls and no doors. The forest simply continues into the room.

Sixteen villas, built from locally sourced materials, including dark Ulin wood salvaged from old boat yards. Each has a private plunge pool, a spacious terrace, a gazebo, and a bathtub open to the trees.

Beyond the villas, an infinity pool with lounge beds and jungle views. Days can hold hiking, mountain biking, cooking, cultural experiences. The Open Kitchen serves an innovative plant-based menu; The Botanist Bar mixes drinks from herbs and botanicals grown in the hotel's own garden.
