The place

Five hundred acres of rolling hills and vineyards outside Carmel, and quiet to match. The 134 suites are scattered across the estate, each starting at 650 square feet — earthy and warm, with modern furnishings, an indoor fireplace, and a large private deck. Some add an outdoor stone tub under the open sky.

Four outdoor pools mark the grounds, three with adjoining hot tubs, and a nourishing spa for slower repair. The days offer championship golf, tennis, pickleball, wine tasting — or none of it.

Valley Kitchen is the signature table, its handcrafted dishes built from ingredients grown on the property.
